Honda Prelude Restoration
As the Project Leader for a personal endeavor in classic vehicle restoration based in Southbury, CT, I've collaborated with three peers since August 2021 to breathe new life into a 1989 Honda Prelude SI 4WS. Engaging hands-on with power tools, I've undertaken the repair and reconstruction of vital components such as suspension, power steering, coolant system, brakes, exhaust, and subframe. This project has been an invaluable platform for me to apply the skills I'm acquiring at Embry-Riddle, merging theoretical knowledge with practical expertise. Each repair and obstacle encountered has presented a unique learning opportunity, contributing significantly to my growth. Remarkably, by my sophomore year, I successfully restored the car sufficiently to embark on a journey from Connecticut to Florida, defying the odds and showcasing the tangible outcomes of my dedication and skill application.
